Welcome to Celestial Butterfly, a fantastic and immersive game set in the world of Second Life.
To participate, players must have an account that is at least 60 days old.
Before embarking on your adventure, please carefully read the following rules that govern your participation in the game.
We expect all players to respect fellow participants, administrators, and the game environment. All behavior within official Celestial Games groups, events, and the HQ sim must follow the group rules and remain polite, appropriate, and inclusive. Disagreements are natural, but they must be handled calmly and respectfully.
Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in sanctions, reminders, or expulsion from the game. Examples include (but are not limited to):
Any issues or conflicts between a player and a host (or between players) that occur outside of Celestial HQ sim or in personal/private spaces must remain outside of the game. Only issues occurring within the Celestial HQ sim or official Celestial Games groups will be addressed by the staff. Any problems on a sim hosted by Celestial Games should be resolved directly between the host and the player, or between players themselves. Players are also reminded that any Abuse Reports (AR) should primarily be submitted to Linden Lab, rather than through Celestial Games channels.
Cheating in any form, including the use of third-party software, manipulation of bugs, or exploitation of flaws in the game, is strictly prohibited. Players caught cheating will be promptly penalized, which may include account suspension or deletion.
Players are allowed a maximum of two accounts per household (IP address) to ensure the security, integrity, and fairness of the game for all players. Accounts with nonsensical names, such as random sequences of letters, are prohibited.
Using VPNs or other tools to hide the IP address is not strictly forbidden, but players do so at their own risk. If such use results in a violation of account rules, it may lead to immediate account suspension or deletion.
Players found violating these rules will face disciplinary actions, including the deletion of the relevant accounts. Any account sanctioned or permanently ban due to a breach of the rules shall forfeit all rights to request refunds, compensation, or restitution of any kind, including but not limited to virtual items, currencies, or progress made within the game.
On the Celestial HQ sim, especially on Utopia World, it is strictly forbidden to fly, click-teleport, or sit on objects. Security systems are already in place to prevent these actions, and any violators will be automatically ejected from the sim.
All content created in the Celestial Butterfly game and on the Celestial Butterfly websites is the intellectual property of its creators.
Any attempt to copy products using copy bots, reproduce, modify, or resell in-game products without prior authorization from Celestial Games is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disciplinary actions, which may include permanent banning from the game.
Players are encouraged to respect copyrights and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized attempts to copy, reproduce, or sell products.
Administrators reserve the right to modify or update game rules at any time to ensure fairness, balance, and an enjoyable experience for all players. Players are responsible for staying informed about the latest rules and must comply with any updates once they are announced.
The game may receive new features, improvements, or changes to existing content to enhance gameplay. These changes will be communicated via official game channels, including group notices, the HQ sim, or in-game announcements.
It is the responsibility of each player to check official communication channels regularly to remain up to date. Ignorance of announced changes will not excuse violations or non-compliance.
If you encounter technical issues, inappropriate behavior, or rule violations while in the game, you can contact a Customer Support Representative (CSR) in-game. CSRs are available to assist with resolving issues or guiding you on proper reporting procedures.
For issues that cannot be resolved in-game, players can submit a support ticket through our official support system. Please provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots or logs if applicable, to help administrators investigate the problem efficiently.
Under no circumstances should players attempt to contact Celestial Games developers directly. All reports, complaints, or requests must go through official support channels or in-game CSRs. Ignoring this rule may result in sanctions.
Game administrators have full authority to enforce the rules of Celestial Butterfly. Their decisions regarding rule violations, disputes, and sanctions are final and binding.

To ensure that all butterflies are official and their information is correctly synchronized with the players' HUD, the following rules govern the sale, exchange, and distribution of breedables within and outside the game environment.
Each butterfly must be sold individually and be selectable via the buyer’s HUD. Sellers must ensure that every butterfly is displayed properly and that its corresponding data is accessible through the system at the time of the transaction.
The sale or advertisement of butterflies on external platforms, including but not limited to the Second Life Marketplace, is strictly forbidden.
All butterflies must remain selectable and visible to buyers. Selling items in a form that prevents selection or verification is not allowed.
The creation, duplication, or sale of counterfeit butterflies is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a severe violation of the Terms of Service.
Players who suspect a violation of these rules are encouraged to report the incident through the official support channel.
These rules may be updated periodically to ensure fairness and market stability. Players are responsible for reviewing the latest version of the Terms of Service regularly.
To comply with Second Life's Terms of Service and applicable laws, all forms of gambling or paid games of chance are strictly prohibited within the breedables environment.
To ensure a respectful and fair environment across all official Celestial Butterfly and Celestial Games sims, the following rules apply to external RP systems such as Dawn Dream, Bloodlines, Progeny, as well as any similar current or future systems.
The HQ sim (Utopia World) is a working environment and operational area for staff. Players must respect that it is not a free RP or combat zone.
Systems such as Dawn Dream, Bloodlines, Progeny, or any other RP/combat system must never be used to attack, harass, target, or disrupt members of the Celestial Games staff.
Players are allowed to interact with humans through RP systems, including biting and conversions, according to the mechanics provided by those systems.
However, it is strictly forbidden to bite, attack, or force interactions on other vampires or protected races without consent, regardless of the RP system used.
The built-in protections in Dawn Dream already prevent non-consensual interactions between certain races.
On the Celestial HQ sim, especially on Utopia World, it is strictly forbidden to fly, click-teleport, or sit on objects. Security systems are already in place to prevent these actions, and any violators will be automatically ejected from the sim.
Camping is also strictly forbidden on the HQ sim when used to wait, track, or exploit players for RP farming or external system usage.
Camping on sims for the purpose of hunting players, waiting for victims, or tracking individuals is strictly prohibited.
Players are not allowed to use RP systems, alternative accounts, HUD mechanics, exploits, or external tools to bypass rules established on Celestial Butterfly, Celestial Games, or partner sims.
Any attempt to bypass the rules will result in a permanent ban of the Second Life account across all official and partner sims.
Some RP mechanics may be intentionally disabled, restricted, or regulated across Celestial Games sims to ensure a safe and balanced environment.
The Dawn Dream system already includes built-in protections preventing non-consensual interactions between certain races.
The Sanctum Stone is a central protection system on official sims, designed to block and prevent rule violations, abusive behavior, and unauthorized actions.
Any attempt to bypass, disable, exploit, or abuse these protection systems is strictly forbidden.
The Sanctum Stone has been officially approved and validated by its creator, LaviniaSoren Resident, as part of its protection framework. Celestial Games operates as a real-life organization managing and enforcing these systems within its environments.
Celestial Games staff members live and work across the sims and may manage multiple official or partner sims at the same time. They may therefore be occupied with moderation, support, events, or interventions across different regions simultaneously.

It is strictly forbidden to attack, harass, target, disrupt, or exploit these individuals through any RP or combat system used within Celestial Games environments.

Any violation involving harassment, attacks on staff, prohibited camping, abusive RP farming, or attempts to bypass rules may result in immediate sanctions, including a permanent ban from the Second Life account across all official and partner Celestial Games sims.
